We know we're good at what we do, but why not hear it for yourself from some of the businesses we've partnered with.
Want the same success?RV World
Craig and Sharlee Hinton
Before embarking on the business planning session with RWCA Craig and Sharlee of RV World didn’t know where to begin or what direction to head in.
Of much benefit to them was the fantastic outside perspective RWCA offered.
“Someone else telling us, you can do it, it is achievable….It enabled us to step back and take a look at the bigger picture, to start making changes and plan for the future.”
As a result of the session RV World now has a clear idea of where they want to be in 5 years, and the first steps of how to get there are in motion.
“We probably would be still stuck in the same place if we hadn't taken the day to set goals and time frames….It was extremely valuable.”
Three key benefits of the day include: Direction, Confidence, and Motivation.
“It has given us a positive outlook….We couldn’t recommend it enough, it exceeded our expectations. I wish we had taken the time sooner.”

Pete Walters
Pete of Marlborough Marine knows the old cliché ‘failing to plan is planning to fail’, he’d counselled many over the years with it, but due to time constraints was concerned he wasn’t practising what he preached. He found the business planning session with RWCA took away a lot of fear; by putting something on paper it suddenly didn’t seem to daunting.
“Putting an action into being is, in a way, like sharing a problem.”
Pete enjoyed the simplicity of the exercise, and it’s one-on-one nature with someone of like minded values.
The outcome of the day can be broken down into three main benefits:
- Definition of tasks.
- Direction of forward planning.
- Determination to see results.
For Pete, the business planning session with RWCA provided a map forward on not only a professional level, but personal too. It saw the introduction of a mission statement which has received an encouraging level of excitement and positive feedback from those it’s been shared with.
Would Pete recommend a business planning session with RWCA?
“Yes, definitely….Make it happen!”
Nelson Prosthodontics
Lisette Cautley
For Nelson Prosthodontics, potential business plans had come and gone.
“They weren’t worth the paper they were written on.”
So getting buy in from the team to take time out of their busy schedules to attend a business planning session with RWCA was not easy. By the time it was over however, it was agreed to be an efficient use of time with much covered.
It was a good exercise to see what was happening in the business with more clarity. Having RWCA as an objective third party to guide and drive the direction of the planning session meant the team walked away seeing the business for what it is and what it can be.
“We have become proactive regarding the future….We have indentified things that seemed like barriers, and now seem like opportunities.”
All aspects of the business were addressed: “Like a decent spring clean.”
And goals set were practical, limited and meaningful, making them very possible without taking focus from the day-to-day running of the business.
